Hello.

In my college we are starting to select our second semester courses. I'm definetally taking English Comp. II and Art History II. Not sure of anything else. After this semester's Sociology class I am going to choose those a lot more carefully.

So anyone shocked to see Christmas things set up this early? The other day on the radio I heard Christmas songs. And I go to Target and see they have fake trees set up and all that. I know people get the holiday decorations up early, but this is too early for me. I mean its barely even a week into the month.

I ask you guys in my last journal for advice on what kind of things to do for a Halloween picture. And what do I get? Nothing. I don't make these for my personal satisfaction, I'd like it if you guys would read them without me having to tell you to.

Hello!

Last night my sister and I went to go see "Where the Wild Things Are". I laughed, cried, smiled the whole way through. This movie was everything I had hoped it would be. Just captured all these fond memories of Sendak's book, but still with plenty of origionality. It was so well put together by Spike Jonez, he should get a nomination for this. Max Records for a child gave a very strong performance. They really made Max a realistic young boy, with his tantrums and imagination. They were not going for the typical "Hollywood kid", though he's very cute he wasn't a watered down version of how children behave. He has shown a lot of raw talent in this movie, I hope he goes on to do really well. The Wild Things were voiced wonderfully, the fact that they are puppets and not CGI also impressed me. Only their facial expressions were computer made. The music fit this movie very well. It would not be a stretch to say this was one of my favorite things, if not my favorite, I have seen all year.

People tend to say this loosely, but I really encourage anyone to go see this movie. Whether you read the book as a child or not.

Now I have been struggling a little to come up with new ideas for pictures. So I want you guys to tell me what kinds of things I have done that you like. Or things you would like to see more of. Maybe then I'll have a great idea for a Halloween picture.

Was a very good movie. I love Ricky Gervais.

I'm still excited for "Where the Wild Things Are". I don't think I've been this excited for a movie since "The Dark Knight".

So I have been busy with school work. I think alot of people have been. There is always a decline in updates in September.

It's early, but I'm already thinking of Halloween. Who doesn't love that holiday (except for Jahova's Witnesses of coarse) The best horror movies get aired on tv, it gives us an excuse to eat candy like no tomorrow, people get reason to dress up. I'm not sure if anything will be going on for me, but I am just thrilled it's comming up.

Not a whole lot else to say here. My week wasn't bad except on Monday my car battery wore out. But it was replaced.
